Week in Review!

work- mental..on call Monday pm.. AND Friday all day.. loads of admin, its awful.. Not a happy person.

Thursday drove to Luton to collect parents- that cool

Sent email to try for audition for a cool choir.. didn't get it.. they sent some stupid reply that slots are full.. they must be mad! Still felt sad for few days! Silly me.

Friday was so awful was meant to go out in but long day, home visit at 8pm, saw parents and watched meat loaf documentary instead.. still ok.

Sat was meant to run.. felt too tired and slept until 12!! oops
then Penny phoned re wanting to go to open mic. So I got up and rehearsed my set and did some kick boxing dvd.  She's naive, self centred and at times a bit silly.. but also refreshingly so!
I invited her round and she just expected me to play her songs in the right keys magically ?!?! idiot
I made something up it was ok.

then I drove us to the open mic!

Open mic in Highgate.. went SOOO well,
We first did Penny's set which went well- she forgot the words and kept looking nervously at me but we did good, people seemed to enjoy and she has a fab voice.
 everyone loved casual fling and people all complimented me on the fab set.

Sunday- got up to marshall in the cold but luckily not rainy or snowy conditions- field was super muddy. Basically involved standing around and pointing up the hill that the competitors had to run up, and then I had to yell out words of encouragement. Not sure if I was all that encouraging but I Was giving it volume and welly!
Did some kick boxing in front of the telly.

Then went to see "Into the woods" in the cinema with Tori who's friend had dropped out last minute. I literally raced to the station- hopped on the Tube and ran down Wood Green high street to get there.. Then we had 10 mins waiting anyway! Silly me.

Then drove to see parents - dad gave me a lecture when I said work was killing me- the admin specifically. Then back home to try to learn about heart failure.. but fell asleep. Will have to finish tomorrow.
Have emailed Nick re music stuff.. hope to get that in the pipeline.

Its nearly feb= faWM TIME.. need to write some more comedy songs as they go down a storm at open mic. Need to write, produce, sort website, ? some photos.. Lets get this show on the road :D
